Long Crested Eagle no.2

Although I’ve only made a few trips to visit the raptors at the World Bird Sanctuary, I’m finding that that “Chrys”, a Long Crested Eagle, is perhaps the most cooperative and fun member of the group to photograph.

    This is a beautiful picture of Chrys. I interned at the Sanctuary this summer, and can confirm Chrys’s cooperation… he also sings alot. I think he’s a songbird in disguise…

    Now I’m jealous, you got to intern and see Chrys in songbird mode!  How cool is that?  It may be high time for me to make another visit to the WBS.
